Camavinga, Gavi, Pedri and Ansu Fati among the 100 nominees for Golden Boy

Rome, Jun 15 (EFE).- The Italian daily ‘Tuttosport’ published this week the first list of 100 nominees for the Golden Boy 2022 trophy, in which the French Eduardo Camavinga (Real Madrid) and the Spaniards Pablo Páez Gavira ‘Gavi stand out ‘, Pedro González ‘Pedri’ and Ansu Fati (Barcelona), among other big names.

The Golden Boy prize accumulates 20 years since its year of 2003, when the Dutch young person Rafael Van der Vaart took the first award. The last one in Spanish was Pedri, who was among the non-deliveries for this edition which, as on previous occasions, took place at the end of the natural year.

Favorite part of this first list of 100 names, second as the diary itself, Camavinga “por haber el gran bino Liga-Champions League”, aunque followed closely by the English Jude Bellingham (Borussia Dortmund) and el Jamal Musiala (Bayern Munich).

In four parts of the Spanish representation, the list has new members: Alejandro Baldé (Barcelona B), Ansu Fati, Pedri, Gavi, Nico (Barcelona), Ilaix Moriba (Leipzig), Raúl Moro (Lazio), Nico Williams (Athletic Bilbao ) ) and Yeremi Pino (Villarreal).

The list of nominees will be reduced by deer names each month until October 15th, with the names of the finalists alone, of which the winner will be chosen by the forty journalists who form the jury of the event.

In addition, the ‘Web Golden Boy’ will also be awarded, a prize that fans will decide by voting on the Italian rotary website.
