>p>To know me is to know that I love Hailey Bieber. Although I’ve never met her in person, I love finding inspiration in her fashion, hairstyles, and more recently, makeup. A few weeks ago, Bieber shared her typical makeup routine in a two-part video on TikTok and detailed the exact products she uses to achieve her signature look. Since I already had some of the products she uses, I wanted to see if she could recreate her look at home. I followed Bieber’s makeup routine to a T (well, almost – more on that later), and TBH, I think I kind of nailed it.

Bieber mentions in her first video that the night before she used Tan Luxe The Water Hydrating Self-Tan Water ($48), so the night before the test of her full makeup routine, I gave my face a few spritzers as well. The next morning, I followed in Bieber’s footsteps using a vitamin C serum, moisturizer, and EltaMD UV Clear Tinted broad-spectrum SPF ($41).

Then I used Kosas Revealer Concealer ($28) and applied it under the eyes, on the sides of the nose, and on the forehead between the eyebrows. Then I blended everything together using a damp beauty sponge. Bieber doesn’t wear any foundation in his video, and while the tinted sunscreen did give me some coverage, it wasn’t much and it definitely felt a little weird not wearing any foundation.

Then I applied the blush using shade 204 from the Make Up Forever Ultra HD Face Essentials Palette ($83). Bieber applied the color to the high points of his cheeks, as well as his nose, which is where I usually apply my blush. However, the color is much darker than what I normally wear, and I honestly wasn’t sure how it would look. I was pleasantly surprised to find that not only did it look great on my skin tone, but the formula was also creamy and blended well.

After blushing, Bieber moves on to brows and mentions that she’s “not really a big-browed girl.” She brushes her brows and then uses Milk Makeup Kush Fiber Eyebrow Gel ($20) to keep them in place. This is the only instance where I felt I needed to stray from Bieber’s course, as she used to have naturally thick brows, but after a few years of excessive shaving, I’ve struggled to keep in shape. I used the Milk Makeup Kush Triple Eyebrow Pen ($22) to lightly fill in my brows, then lock it all in place using the same Milk brow gel as Bieber.

From there, Bieber (and I – we’re basically best friends at this point) uses the Tom Ford Shade and Illuminate Cream Face Palette ($89) to highlight. This was my first time using a cream highlighter, and honestly I was really impressed. The look is pretty subtle, but it gave my face a nice glow and felt super hydrating, which is great because I have really dry skin.

For eyeshadow, Bieber mentions that it “usually doesn’t do much” on his eyes, which I was immediately relieved to hear because I’m absolutely terrible with eyeshadows. She just uses MAC Eye Shadow in Wedge ($19) to add some color to her lids. The color is a grayish brown and definitely not one I would normally choose for myself. I usually go for warmer colors, but after blending this onto my lids, I was really interested in how it turned out.

For lips, I tried out Bieber’s favorite combination: Make Up Forever Artist Color Pencil at Anywhere Caffeine ($20) and Charlotte Tilbury Matte Revolution Lipstick at Pillow Talk ($34). It was the first time I used the Make Up Forever lip pencil and I fell in love right away. It glided over my lips so easily, and the color was absolute perfection. On the other hand, I’ve had the Charlotte Tilbury lipstick for years, and while I love the color, I feel the formula can be a little dry.

To top it all off, I applied my makeup using Laura Mercier Translucent Loose Setting Powder ($40). I pressed a small amount of powder under my eyes, on my chin, on my forehead and on my nose. This is my setting powder, and I love it because it doesn’t leave my skin dry or flaky. Helps keep my makeup in place all day.

Once it was all over and I took a step back to check on how I was doing, I instantly noticed that my makeup was an exact match for the typical Bieber look. It was a little weird not using mascara, bronzer or contouring, but in the end, I really liked the result. When I ended up leaving the house to catch up with friends at the end of the day, I added a few swipes of mascara and a little bronzer, but overall, Bieber’s look carried me through from early morning until late at night. I think Bieber’s makeup routine is the perfect solution to a “no makeup” look, and I’m definitely going to adopt this as my new option.
