The 2022 Commonwealth Games are already underway, with Birmingham hoping to deliver an unforgettable sporting extravaganza.
We are on the fifth day of competition and England has already taken home 21 gold medals, between weightlifting, triathlon and gymnastics – where the team won four golds.
More than 5,000 athletes from 72 nations are competing in 19 different sports as England host for the third time.
But what will happen at the closing ceremony and when will it be?
Here’s everything you need to know.
When is the 2022 Commonwealth Games closing ceremony?
The closing ceremony will take place on Monday, August 8, the last day of the competition.
Unlike the opening ceremony, when there were no sporting events on the day of the show, next Monday’s ceremony will take place at the end of a busy day of medal events.
After an action-packed final day, the ceremony will take place from 8pm to 10pm at Alexander Stadium.
How can I watch?
As well as the opening ceremony, you will be able to watch the action live on BBC One and BBC iPlayer.
What do we know about the ceremony?
The games are expected to go off with a bang, but the exact details of the ceremony are still unknown.
Also at Alexander Stadium, the opening ceremony was filled with references to the host city’s culture and history, including a giant raging bull, a Union Jack made of 72 cars and a powerful speech by women’s education activist Malala Yousafzai.
What sporting events will take place on the last day of the games?
The synchronized 10m platform mixed final and synchronized 3m springboard mixed final will be held at the Sandwell Aquatics Center next Monday.
Badminton will be held in hall five of the National Exhibition Center (NEC), and highlights include the men’s doubles gold medal match, the men’s singles gold medal match and the medal ceremony.
Men’s hockey medal matches will be held at the University of Birmingham Hockey and Squash Center, with squash medals awarded at the same venue.
In pavilion three of the NEC, table tennis and table tennis medal matches will be played, followed also by its medal ceremony.
